Station formats

Six ways to print live at an event

"Live printing" isn't one machine — it's a family of station formats. Most events run one or two; big activations combine three. Here's the honest rundown of each, including where it shines and where it doesn't.

Format A
The workhorseDTF Heat Press

Live DTF heat pressing

Full-color transfers pressed onto shirts, hoodies, and totes in about a minute per item. No color limits, no screens to burn, photo-real detail, and a soft finish that survives the wash. This is the format we recommend for most events because guests can choose from a whole art menu instead of one design.

Format B
The showpieceScreen Print

Screen printing showcase

A manual carousel press pulling ink through screens is pure theater — crowds gather just to watch the squeegee pass. Best for single-design drops where the print itself is the spectacle. It trades flexibility for drama: fewer designs, bigger moment.

Format C
The keepsakeEmbroidery

Embroidery & monogramming

On-site machines stitch initials, names, and small logos onto hats, robes, jackets, and totes. Slower per piece than a press, but the perceived value is enormous — stitched gifts get kept for years. Strong fit for weddings, galas, and executive events.

Format D
The crowd favoriteHat Bar

Trucker hat bar with patches

Guests pick a Richardson 112 or Flexfit cap, choose a leather, woven, or chenille patch, and watch it heat-sealed in place. It's fast, tactile, and endlessly photographable. Pairs naturally with a DTF station so groups can split between hats and shirts.

Format E
The premium touchLaser

Laser engraving

Tumblers, flasks, bag tags, and wooden keepsakes engraved with names or logos while guests watch. Quiet, precise, and a natural fit for corporate gifting suites where apparel isn't the right tone.

Format F
The hard-goods trickUV DTF

UV DTF stickers & hard goods

Peel-and-press full-color decals that bond to bottles, jars, tumblers, and phone cases. We've labeled everything from water bottles to candle jars at gifting stations — it turns any hard surface into custom merch in seconds.

Included in every booking

What the crew brings

  • Trained operators — every station is staffed, never drop-shipped equipment
  • Presses, machines, tables, racks, and signage
  • Blanks sourced for you (or we press garments you provide)
  • Artwork prep and a printed design menu for the table
  • Setup at least an hour before doors and full teardown after

Space and power, in plain terms: a single station fits a 10×10 footprint with two 6-foot tables and needs one dedicated 20-amp circuit. Outdoors, we work with your generator plan. That's usually the entire venue conversation.
