Live printing events in Los Angeles
Los Angeles is where the activation format was practically invented, and it's where our rigs work the hardest rooms: studio lots, rooftop launches, DTLA lofts, Hollywood premieres, and the Los Angeles Convention Center floor. If your event has an art director, this is the city where we're most used to matching one.
What LA events ask of a print crew
Three things come up on nearly every LA date. Load-in reality: venue docks, freight elevators, and parking are tighter here than anywhere else we work — we advance every LA venue in detail so the rig is running before your call time, not during it. Camera-readiness: LA events get filmed, so stations are dressed to brief and positioned for angles; the press reveal is content, and we treat it that way. Timing: traffic is a logistics input in this city. Crews stage early — an hour minimum, more for DTLA evening slots — because "on time" in LA means already inside.
The formats LA books most
Brand activations and launch parties lead, with stations styled into the set design and claim-ticket flows that keep parties circulating. Premiere and wrap parties favor the hat bar — a Richardson 112 with a production-logo patch outlives any gift bag. Expo dates at the LACC run through our convention playbook with power orders and union windows handled in advance.
There's no travel fee anywhere in LA County, and standard lead times apply — two weeks is comfortable for most dates, more for expo season. Budget with the rate anchors and the $25–$40 per-guest rule of thumb.
